2012 Conference Preview
May 21 • SERESC Conference Center • Bedford
The Conference Committee is diligently at work planning sessions for the 2012 Annual Conference. Topics for consideration are Fearless Fundraising, Social Media panel discussion, Conflict Resolution, Strategic Planning, Intellectual Freedom, and Building the Library of the Future—to name a few. Your input from the 2011 conference was of great value and the committee has included your suggestions in planning the 2012 sessions. Detailed flyer and registration form will be mailed early next year.
2011 Best Conference Ever!
Attendance topped last year. The SERESC Conference Center was perfect, the food was great, the service was excellent, there was ample parking, and the location was a breeze to find. Marilyn Johnson’s motivating keynote speech set the tone for the day. BUT, most important were the workshops—they were relevant and invaluable to the education of trustees and well worth the trip to Bedford.
Save these dates for the next two conferences: Monday May 21, 2012 and Monday May 20, 2013. We guarantee they will not conflict with any holiday!
